Plant Facts - Indian Tobacco, Lobelia inflata

  • Pioneer doctors used this lobelia medicinally for many ailments.
  • It is called "inflata" because it has little inflated balloon like pods.
  • Some people call it "puke weed" because you shouldn't eat it or you'll vomit!!
