Mission
The mission of the Frostburg State University Alumni Association is to unite graduates, former students and friends of Frostburg State University for mutual benefit and to promote the welfare and advance the interests of Frostburg State University. All graduates and former students (those who have successfully completed a minimum of one semester) of Frostburg State University, Frostburg State College, Frostburg State Teachers College, and State Normal School #2 at Frostburg are members of the Alumni Association.

Nominations
The Annual Meeting held in the spring is the forum in which alumni determine the leadership of the Frostburg State University Alumni Association. Nominations may be submitted by contacting the Director of Alumni Programs prior to the January meeting of the Board of Directors. Nominations are then forwarded to the Governance Committee who makes the final recommendation to the Board.
