Keeping In Touch - Sharing Experience & Expertise
Student/Alumni
Leadership Series
The Alumni Association, working in partnership with the University's Office
of Student and Community Involvement, have developed unique opportunities for members
of FSU student organizations to interact with FSU alumni in meaningful
and instructive ways.
The Office of Student and Community Involvement has developed three tracks that facilitate leadership
skill building.
The
Emerging Leaders Track is designed for students with little
or no leadership experience and programs focus on basic skill building.
The
Sloop Leadership Track assists students who have graduated from
the Emerging Leaders Track with the continued development of leadership
tools.
The
Senior Experience Track has been developed exclusively for students
who will be graduating and offers practical advice to students who will
soon be mainstreamed into the real world.
All of these
programs are dependent upon the involvement of alumni, serving as guest
presenters and topic facilitators.
Career
Connections
The
Office of Alumni Programs works together with alumni, students and faculty
to develop on-campus career panel discussions as well as off-campus mentorship
opportunities. Successful programs to date have assisted students aspiring
to careers in education, business, government, politics, law and the social
services.
Alumni
Expo (formerly Career Day)
