The Center for International Education (CIE) promotes, coordinates and supports FSU's study abroad programs.

Students at Frostburg State University and other universities may apply through the Center for International Education (CIE) to study overseas on any of the following FSU-sponsored or affiliated programs. Students who apply and are accepted to participate in these programs will register at FSU in most cases and pay program fees to FSU. This enables most students to take full advantage of their financial aid packages (for further information, please see the Financial Aid Office in Pullen Hall and our Financial Aid page). FSU students may transfer credit from overseas institutions back to FSU for credit towards their degrees. In some cases students may need to apply and register directly with an overseas institution once they have been accepted to study abroad by the CIE. All students who plan to study abroad are required to fill out an application form with the CIE and be accepted before applying to any study abroad program directly. For more information on how to apply, please contact Dr. Henry Bullamore at the Center for International Education or see our Application Procedures page.
