Delegate Lodging
Conference housing is available in any of nine residence halls, depending on availability and your group's specific needs. Lodging formats include: "modern" air-conditioned cluster-style rooms with semi-private baths and micro-fridges, "traditional" double rooms along a hallway sharing a central bath, and "uphill" smaller buildings housing only 70 participants providing a more intimate setting. Please be aware that your group will be centralized as much as possible in one building; you will not be spread throughout different buildings based on preferences for any of the above configurations.
In This Section:
Linen Services
Linen service includes blanket, pillowcase, towel, sheets, washcloth, soap, and cup. Towel exchanges will be available. Full linen exchange will be every fifth day. Unless other arrangements are made, beds will not be made prior to delegates' arrival.
Care of Facilities
Sponsoring groups are responsible for the proper use of the facilities, furnishings, and equipment in the scheduled area by their participants and will be responsible for any damages incurred during their stay. Pre- and post-conference checks will be done by representatives of the University and the group to ascertain condition of the facilities. If any damages have occurred, every effort should be made to collect from the guilty parties. If this fails, repair/replacement charges will be added to your total conference filling, based on standard rates as set by the University's Residence Life Office. Daily janitorial service will be performed in common/public areas only. Guests are responsible for removing any accumulation of trash from their rooms, using the trash cans provided.
Telephones
Telephones will be available in centralized locations in each residence hall. Service provided will allow local calls, credit card calls, and collect calls, but will not accept direct-dial efforts. Locations of telephones will be made available upon your arrival. Individual rooms will not have telephone service.
In addition, pay phones are located in the lobby of Cambridge Hall, the first and second floors of the Lane Center, the main lobby of the Hitchins Administration Building, the main entry of the P.E. Center, the first floor of Cumberland Hall, the first floor of the Fine Arts Building, Compton Parking Lot, and the Library
Additional Services
Also available to guests are the following services:
- TV cable in each room (guests provide their private televisions) and a television lounge in each building
- vending machines in each residence hall
- message service at the Conference Desk (located on the first floor of Westminster Hall)
- information on regional points of interest available at the Conference Desk
- special accommodations for handicapped individuals

For the protection of your attendees, all residence hall exterior doors will be locked each evening at 11:00 p.m., at which time a security guard will begin duty. Room keys will open designated exterior doors. Please note: Ice for drinks, coolers, etc., is not available in the residence halls or on campus.
