Frostburg State University Memorial Wall

Frostburg State University has built a memorial to honor and memorialize faculty, staff, students and friends. Three walls have been erected in a small park area in front of the Performing Arts Center. The walls are wedged shape with a low profile. The faces of the walls are a composition of red and black granite aggregate. Names are etched in panels approximately one-inch in size and may include a year of graduation, attendance or employment. The panels are in a horizontal series on both sides of the walls. Each panel contains two columns of names with approximately
10 names in each column.

A contribution of $500 is required for each name. Proceeds from the wall are used to beautify the campus by the purchase of flowers, landscaping and benches. Two of the walls are dedicated to "Alumni and Students" and one wall is dedicated to "Faculty, Staff and Friends"
