page provides a link to the FSU Official Faculty Handbook. The handbook
is grouped into various sections as listed below.
Make a selection from
the list to view a specific section of the handbook, the complete
handbook, or a specific chart from the handbook.
Changes to the 2008 Faculty Handbook

The FSU Faculty Handbook is presented
in Adobe Portable Document File (.PDF) format. To view the PDF file,
you must have Adobe Acrobat Reader. If you do not have Adobe Acrobat
Reader and wish to download and install it (it's free),
click here.

If you know what information or policy you are looking
for, follow these instructions to view that information or policy.
- Select the appropriate section of the handbook or
select Entire Faculty Handbook
to open the handbook document in your browser window.
- Select the binoculars icon
from the program toolbar. This allows you to search the open .PDF document.
- Enter a keyword or policy number to find and jump
to that information or policy.
Follow these instructions to browse the Faculty Handbook
Index.
- Select the Table
of Contents or Index
section of the handbook to open that document in your browser window.
Topics and policies appear on the left side of the table of contents/index
entry with corresponding page numbers on the right. Locate the policy
or topic in the document and note the corresponding page number.
- Select the appropriate section or Entire
Faculty Handbook to open the handbook document in your browser window.
- Select the binoculars icon
from the program toolbar. This allows you to search the open .PDF document.
- Enter the page number (A-11, for instance) to find
and jump to that page.
Note: If you are using Adobe Acrobat Reader 4.0 or
later, the Entire Faculty Handbook file will open with Bookmarks showing.
If you are using an earlier version of the software, the Bookmarks will
not automatically open. You can open Bookmarks by clicking on the Bookmark
icon
on the tool bar.
