Digital Printing
Printing Services is equipped with a high speed DT6115 digital Xerox copier that provides sharp 600 dpi resolution. This copier creates enhanced image quality and allows us to provide our customers with quick turnaround time. The on-line finisher provides many stapling options as well as thermal glue book binding.

Our DT6115 is networked to the campus. Your digital files can be sent to the printer from the convenience of your office PC (click here for instructions). Contact Printing Services for additional information.

Digital Color Copying
Printing Services can provide 600 x 600 x 8 bit depth resolution color copying and printing through the use of a Xerox DocuColor 240PS. The DC240 delivers outstanding, consistent results such as graphic design and digital color production. It can accommodate sheet sizes up to 12” x 18” and can handle paper weights up to 100# cover.

Colored hard-copy originals, such as photographs, charts, etc can be reproduced into full color copies. For superior copies, submit your file on a floppy, zip drive, or CD-ROM. This workstation can accommodate the following: PageMaker, Illustrator, Photoshop, Word, PowerPoint, and Publisher. Also the DC240 is networked to the campus, so files can be sent directly to the printer. Contact Printing Services concerning installation of the print drivers.

Large Format Printing
Do you have a special event or presentation you want to let the campus know about? We can make it happen with the use of our two large format printers.

We offer a HP3800cp printer that can handle 24”, 36” and 50” wide media with a maximum length of 100 feet. Resolution is 600 dpi, with 240 nozzles. Our workstation can accommodate floppies, zip drives and CD-ROM. Files must be created and saved to the actual size you want to be printed. We offer two types of media, an 8 mil photo-based paper and a 16 mil tear and water resistant polyester vinyl. The HP3800 is networked to the campus. The other printer is an Epson Stylus Pro 9600. The resolution on this printer is 2880 x 1440 dpi with 7-color UltraChrome ink technology. The UltraChrome ink is 100 years fade resistant. The main function for this printer is to print to 1.2 mil poster boards with two sizes, 24” x 30” and 30” x 40”. This printer is not presently networked.

2-Color Offset Printing
Quality offset printing is offered through the use of single and two-colored offset presses. The sheet size can range up to 11 x 17. We have a large variety of paper in stock. You may request carbonless forms and envelopes, as well as quality halftones in many PMS colors.

Electronic Prepress
Computer-to-plate technology allows us to accept files directly from your desktop. The Office of Publications can further assist your design needs.
