Institutional Research

The Institutional Research unit provides management information and centralized data products to customers both within and external to the University. IR is charged with reporting the aggregated data that describes Frostburg State University's student and professional populations.

Institutional Research is responsible for responding to the internal data needs of the campus community. Projects range from providing faculty aggregate data, supporting institutional planning, policy analysis, and decision-making. IR analyzes, interprets, and translates these data into useful data products. Institutional Research also fulfills University compliance reporting requirements at both the Federal and State level as well as with other agencies. More than 30 mandated reports are generated for external agencies annually.
