Shots Fired On Campus
Although the likelihood of an active shooter incident happening at Frostburg State University is low, the impact of such an incident would be great in the event that it did happen. As in any situation, planning and preparation are critically important to a successful outcome. Studies have shown that people who prepare for unexpected incidents are much better able to deal with them when they happen. For these reasons the University Police Department is pleased to present to you in a web-based format the Shots Fired training video. Just as the presentation by an airline flight attendant on emergency procedures prepares passengers for the unlikely airplane crash, we hope this video presentation will help prepare you for the unlikely active shooter on campus.
