Instructions for using FSU's Room Scheduling System (Scheduler Plus)

This page contains general instructions for using the FSU Room Scheduling system to check room availability or to submit an online room request. Make a select below to view the instructions for the task you are trying to accomplish.

Instructions on How to Check Room Availability

Check imageWhen you select the Check Room Availability option from the main Room Scheduling web page, you will see the complete University room schedule for the current date.

You can use the options on the screen to customize your view of room scheduling data as follows:

  • Use the mini-Calendars at the top of the page to view room scheduing data for a specific day.
  • Use the Year and Period options to view room scheduling data for a larger period of time.
  • Use the Text, Graphic and Calendar display options to view room scheduling data in a different visual format.
  • Use the Category option, to view room scheduling data for certain types of events.
  • Use the Location and Room options to view the room scheduling data for specific University buildings and rooms.


Instructions on How to Submit an Online Room Request

Submit imageWhen you select the Submit an Online Room Request option from the main Room Scheduling web page, you will see the User Tab of the Online Room Request form.

To make your request, you must complete the fields on the User Tab as well as on each of the other five tabs - Meeting, Date/Time, Place, Service and Finish.

If you need assistance while completing the fields on any tab in the Online Room Request form, you can click the Help button which appears as a question mark in the upper right hand corner.

Once you get to the Finish Tab, you will see a summary of your room request. Review the specifics of your room request. If you need to change your request, click on the Previous button or on one of the tabs. If the room request information is correct, click on the Submit button.

Click the Submit button to finish the request. After transmitting, a request summary will appear. It is stongly recommended that you click on the Print option to print a hard copy of the request summary. You can now exit the FSU Room Scheduling System.

Once your request is received and processed, you will receive an e-mail confirmation. You should receive your confirmation no later than one to two business days after you make your request. Note that your room request is not reserved and guaranteed until you recieve the follow-up e-mail confirmation.
