Immunizations

Copy of your immunization record is required to be on file at Brady Health.

Required immunizations/tuberculosis risk assessment: Measles, Mumps, Rubella(MMR) vaccination - two doses on or after the first birthday separated by at least one month; Tetanus Diphtheria (Td) or Tetanus, diphtheria, acellular pertussis (Tdap) booster within the last ten years, and completion of the Tuberculosis Risk Assessment Form.

Those who have any positive responses on the tuberculosis risk assessment form must have a PPD (tuberculin) skin test (within six months of attendance and done in the United States) or a blood test for tuberculosis as the T SPOT or QuantiFERON-TB Gold test.  An official copy of the lab report must be submitted to the heath center . Students with a positive PPD skin test (current or a history)  or a positive TB blood test must have a chest x-ray and forward a copy of the official chest x-ray report to the health center.

Health holds are placed on student records without required immunization documentation, prohibiting registration until complete.

Strongly Recommended immunizations: Hepatitis B vaccination series, Varicella, Gardasil (HPV vaccine) and the Meningococcal vaccinations.

 

Meningococcal Vaccines (Menactra or Menveo), Measles, Mumps, Rubella Vaccine (MMR), Hepatitis A Vaccine,  Hepatitis B Vaccine, Tdap vaccine (tetanus/diphtheria/acellular pertussis), Human Papilloma Vaccine (Gardasil) and PPD skin testing are available at Brady Health Center by appointment.

Flu Vaccine is available at the Brady Health Center (in season)and in local clinics.
