Frostburg State University’s Budget Office is located on the third floor of the Hitchins Building and reports to the Vice President of Administration & Finance.

Responsibilities of the Budget Office include:

Preparing and submitting the university’s annual operating budget request to the University System of Maryland, Department of Legislative Services and Department of Budget & Management
Preparing and monitoring Frostburg State University's detailed annual operating budget
Maintaining position vacancy reports
Collecting and analyzing fiscal data
Reporting budget information to the University System of Maryland and other state agencies
Reconciling the credit card distribution
