Most recently, the Centre established an Adopt-A-School project. The past two years we have collaborated with Beall Elementary School. As part of this project, Centre staff visits the school to read literature, and the pupils are provided with opportunities to attend age-specific presentations by noted authors or illustrators. This year’s Storybook Holiday author, S.D. Schindler, traveled to Beall and presented to students from Pre-K to 2nd grade.
