Parents often have questions about the career development process and the services provided by the Frostburg State University Office of Career Services. The information and links on this page are designed to help you understand the mission of Career Services and the nature of the interaction we have with students.

If you have further questions about our office or our services, please contact us.

  • Books imageMajors and Careers information for you and your student.

  • Experiential Education is an umbrella term which describes many different opportunities from which students may accumulate on-the-job skills through hands on experience prior to graduation.

  • Job opportunities, we've got those. Employers post jobs on the FSU College Central Site, our online career services tool. They also fax and call in jobs. Your student can register with College Central from any computer that has internet access and upload their resume to make their experiences available for employers to view. So, no excuses for not staying on top of the job search. All types of jobs are listed-
full time, part time, summer, intern, you name it!

  • You can also see what we have posted on our General Announcements board for students' career search needs.

  • And yes, there are On-campus interview opportunities for them as well through College Central.

  • Oh, don't forget to view the Events coordinated by this office. Phew, we're busy!

  • A Parent's Guide to Career Development
