Student Organizations > A.C.E.
(through the Academic
Monitoring Program)
Through
the A.C.E. Club/Academic Monitoring Program the Diversity Center monitors
a student's progress at approximately the end of the third, sixth, and
ninth week of the semester. The progress of each student will be evaluated
by using the Academic Monitoring report that is completed by the student's
instructors. This feed back is then shared with them. Efforts will be
made to refer each students to the appropriate support services, help
from the Writing Center, or other assistance. Monitoring cycle dates are
chosen to best help a student before they reach an academic crisis.
Academic progress meetings are held with
students whose progress indicates they may need assistance. Students needing
assistance will be contacted to make an appointment to discuss their progress,
assist with and give encouragement concerning their academic performance.
Enrollment is open to campus community
but specifically to students who are experiencing academic difficulty.
In addition, some students are signed up by academic advisors.
If you have any questions regarding the
Academic Monitoring Program, please contact the
Diversity Center.
