ACE - Achievers Creating Excellence
(through the Academic Monitoring Program)

ACE logo

Through the A.C.E. Club/Academic Monitoring Program the Diversity Center monitors a student's progress three times during each semester. The progress of each student will be evaluated by using the Academic Monitoring report that is completed by the student's instructors. This feed back is then shared with them. Efforts will be made to refer each students to the appropriate support services. Monitoring cycle dates are chosen to best help a student before they reach an academic crisis. Academic progress meetings are held with students whose progress indicates they may need assistance. The program's participants are a mix of: first year students (freshmen & transfers), students experiencing academic difficulty, athletes, student leaders and students enrolled in particular programs. In addition, some students are signed up by academic advisors.

If you have any questions regarding the Academic Monitoring Program, please contact the Diversity Center.

Qualification for the Program

Freshman and transfer students will be identified as possible candidates for the monitoring program and will be invited to participate.

  • Mid-term Warnings - Students who receive three or more warnings during a semester will be encouraged to participate in the program if they did not choose to do so initially.
