FSU Leadership Awards Nomination Instructions

Step One: Pick Your Nominations

Double check the award description to make sure your nominee is a good fit for the category you intend to nominate them for.  Note: For the Outstanding Programming Awards, you must be prepared to indicate the individual/organization responsible for the planning and implementation of that program.

Step Two: Justify Your Nomination

Write up a concise description explaining why your nominee deserves to win.  What did they do that was so great? What organizations are they involved in?  Brag about them!  Personal stories are welcome.

Need an example?  Check one out here!

Example: I would like to nominate Bob E. Cat for the Emerging Leader Award.  Even though Bob E. Cat is only a Freshman, he has become very involved on campus.  Cat is a member of The Kitty Club and the Alpha Alpha Fraternity.  He has shown enormous dedication to both of these organizations by helping coordinate bake sales (earning 230 dollars) and by organizing two recruitment events that proved to be hugely successful.  Bob E. Cat earned a 3.8 his first semester and has helped tutor fellow students on a number of occasions.  He is truly committed to the FSU community and to his fellow bobcats.

Step Three: Submit Your Nomination

Fill out the nomination form!  Fill in as much information as possible, making sure to copy/paste the justification that you wrote in step two.  Hit "send" and you are done!

Thanks for nominating!
