Built in 1965, Sowers Hall is a co-educational residence hall named after Lowell M. Sowers who was a former biological sciences faculty member. Sowers is found in the uphill area of campus. It houses 93 residents and has three floors. Sowers Hall houses the STEM program. STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics. Sowers Hall and the STEM Program will provide a unique opportunity for students to develop relationships with peers and mentors in STEM disciplines as they begin their undergraduate academic career.
