1. Review and refine strategic plans consistent with program review process.
   
2. Seek enhanced resources within a framework of responsible resource management.
   
3. Develop and implement unit student recruitment and retention plans.
   
4. Facilitate university, college, and unit efforts to enhance regional economic development.
   
5. Facilitate implementation of the Undergraduate Education Initiative.
   
6. Initiate learning outcomes assessment for all programs.
   
7. Review and restructure learning community model.
