Tawes Hall has been torn down and a new building is in the process of being constructed on that site, housing the Center for Communications and Information Technology (CCIT). The building will be occupied by Computer Science, Mass Communication, Mathematics, the planetarium, FSU-TV, and WFWM radio, as well as the University's Center for Academic Computing and Instructional Technolgies. The graphic design program will also be housed in the building. The CCIT building is on track to open in the Fall of 2014.
