About the CCIT

Long-term planning is underway for Tawes Hall to be torn down and a new building to be constructed on that site, housing the Center for Communications and Information Technology (CCIT). The building will be occupied by Computer Science, Mass Communication, Mathematics, the planetarium, FSU-TV, and WFWM radio, as well as the University's Center for Academic Computing and Instructional Technolgies. The graphic design program will also be housed in the building.

Tawes Hall will be deconstructed beginning in January 2012.  The CCIT building is on track for completion in Spring 2014.
