In honor of his birthday, Frostburg State University’s chapter of Sigma Tau Delta, the English Honor Society, will host a reading of the works of beloved children’s author Dr. Seuss at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 1, at Main Street Books, 2 E. Main St., Frostburg.

Children will enjoy the wondrous, vibrant worlds illustrated in Dr. Seuss’ books, and they can take home the lessons each book teaches, like the importance of trying new things, working hard and sharing. There will be craft stations and a free raffle. The event will be free and open to the public.

For more information, contact Dr. Mary Anne Lutz at mlutz@frostburg.edu or 301-687-4237.
