The meeting
was called to order and the minutes from the November 16, 2005 meeting
were approved.

Change
in Existing Program's Requirements:
1. African American Studies Minor
It was moved and seconded to accept the proposal without contingency,
but with the following editorial changes.
Replace
the language on FSU-Q.02 III.B. and C. with "No,
there is no effect or change."
On
the statement of rationale, replace PYSC 450 with PSYC
450.
On
the sample cross listed course syllabus, add "and
AAST 490" to the MUSC 490 title.
It
was noted that the Ethnobotany proposal is expected to be brought
forward at a later time.

change references to "or 21 credits" to "sophomore
standing," and change references to "or 36 credits"
to "junior standing."
Frequency
of offerings: For GEOG 300 replace "Every Fall semester
beginning 2007" with "Fall," for GEOG 410
remove "beginning Spring 2008," and for GEOG 425
remove "beginning 2007."
Course
descriptions: Standardize all references to "Two hrs.
lecture, 2 hrs. lab."

was moved and seconded to accept the proposal without contingency,
but with the following editorial changes.
On
the new description for SPAN 331, change "through a
review of very specific grammatical topics and the analysis
of..." to read "through review of specific grammatical
topics and analysis of..." and change "for former
SPAN 311" to just "for SPAN 312."
For
the new description of SPAN 332 change the title from "Spanish
for Business" to "Spanish for the Professions."
