This poster introduces a systematic method about how to securely manage the operating system.  We apply this method to server hardening in cyber security MDC3 competition and achieve good results. Also, we overview other cyber security MDC3 competition related contents. Finally, the lessons we learned in the MDC3 competition are summarized.
