Lead content in soil samples from Worcester County, MD was determined using atomic absorption spectroscopy.  A series of standard solutions were prepared using a Pb(NO3)2 stock solution and analyzed.  Both normal calibration and standard addition calibration were performed to determine the amount of lead present in the samples
