Dissecting a Political Speech

Honor Student Dissecting a Political Speech

Department: Communication Studies
Symposium Year: 2013
Student(s): Ryan M. Jones
Faculty Mentor(s): Dr. Brent Kice

I will be presenting a poster on ways to bring diversity to Frostburg in alignment with a speech given by Attorney General Eric Holder. Eric Holder's speech discussed ways that we can achieve integration between our society during Black History Month. I will be explaining the importance of the daily communication between races in order to achieve a more friendly campus environment. I will also be discussing a specific part of Frostburg's history known as Brownsville, an African-American community located where we now know as the upper quad.
