The College of Business at Frostburg State University was created in 1987 when FSU attained university status. FSUBusiness offers three majors at the baccalaureate level, as well as a Master of Business Administration at the graduate level. The college contains four departments: Accounting, Economics, Finance & Marketing, and Management. The undergraduate majors offered include Accounting, Business Administration, and Economics. During the 2004-05 academic year, FSUBusiness had approximately 750 undergraduate students and 250 graduate students. The college also had 44 full-time faculty, seven full-time staff members, 24 student workers, and 10 graduate assistants. The Business Programs of FSUBusiness are accredited by AACSB International, the premiere accrediting agency for business schools. AACSB affirms that FSUBusiness demonstrates a distinguished level of performance in its graduate and undergraduate programs.
