The FSU Network

Frostburg State University is committed to providing a fast, safe, and secure network. Access to the fiber-optic backbone is gained via a FSU network account (username and password). The network connection can be made by "plugging in" to the university network or through wireless access. 

Your FSU Username & Password

You will use your FSU username and password (network account) to log into most computing systems and services including e-mail, Blackboard, web servers, web content management system (CMS), network storage system, PAWS and the student network registration system (Campus Manager).

Note that there are a few online services that require users to log in using different usernames & passwords, not their FSU username and password. Please contact the Help Desk with any questions or difficulties logging on.

Accessing Systems & Services

Before you try to use any online service, you must be familiar with the login requirements of that system. In most cases you will need to enter an assigned username and password to access the online service.
