Network Storage Access
Employees and students at FSU receive storage space to hold their files on the FSU network. FSU ITD manages a large enterprise storage area network (SAN) providing the entire campus community with centralized, dependable, high performance data storage & access services.
Getting Access to Network Storage Space
Each student and faculty/staff member is assigned space on the SAN when their network account is created. (Students commonly refer to this area as their web folder while staff call it their H:/ drive.) In addition, FSU departments may contact the Help Desk to request space on the SAN to allow data and file sharing between staff members (commonly referred to as the department P:/ drive).
Accessing Your Network Storage Space
Students and employees must use their FSU username and password to access their storage space on the SAN (see the Network Accounts page for more information). Select the appropriate link below for instructions on how to access storage space on the SAN.
