E-mail Access

Frostburg State University uses a Microsoft Exchange mail server for its e-mail services.

Getting University E-mail Access

Faculty, staff and student e-mail access at FSU is administered by the Information Technology Department. Contact the FSU Help Desk (x7777; off-campus 301/687-7777) for more information about how to request access to the university e-mail services.

Using your Network Account to Access E-mail

The University e-mail system is one of the University's integrated computing systems meaning access to e-mail is controlled through your network account (FSU username and password). See the Network Accounts page for more information.

The University e-mail system allows users to check their e-mail from the Internet. Users can type http://www.frostburg.edu/mail/ from any computer connected to the Internet to access the e-mail system login page.Additionally, the FSU e-mail system supports both Netscape and Microsoft Outlook e-mail programs.
