Authentication Errors
Passwords expire every 60 days.
The following situations will alert you that your password
has expired:
When you attempt to log in to PAWS, you see
the message "Your
User ID and/or Password are invalid or your Password has expired".
Solution: Click on "Click Here to Change Password" to go to the page
where you can change your password.
When you attempt to log in to the e-mail
system, you
may see an "Access Denied" error message.
Solution: Go to the Change
your Password page at http://www.frostburg.edu/password to
change your password.
When you attempt to log in to Blackboard, you see
the message "Valid authentication credentials
were not provided".
Solution: Click on "Reset your password at the
FSU Password Change page" to
go to the page where you can change your password.
When you attempt to log in to the FSU Wireless
Network,
you see a Change Password window with the message "Your password
on the remote network has expired".
Solution: Following the instructions in the Change
Password window to enter and confirm a new password. Then click OK.
