Library Instruction CenterLibrarians at the Lewis J. Ort Library offer a program of instruction in which students learn effective research methods in a hands-on environment. The focus of library instruction (LI) is to teach students how to find and utilize information and evaluate sources for relevance, reliability and objectivity. At the request of a faculty member, a librarian plans and conducts a session designed for a specific discipline or class assignment. Librarians usually provide customized handouts. Sessions are held in the Library’s Instruction Center. Contact the Library for more information. |
