Instructional Technology services (ITs) is part of the Office of Academic Computing & Instructional Technologies. ITs is located in Pullen Hall 140 and is dedicated to enhancing the teaching and learning environment at Frostburg State University by assisting faculty and students in using emerging technologies in the classroom.
ITs is guided by a commitment to timely service, quality products, and excellence in teacher training both for the traditional classroom setting and through online courses. ITs also supports the University community by installing state-of-the-art technologies for classroom instruction, recognizing the ever-changing role technology plays in student learning outcomes. ITs recognizes varied teaching styles and encourages faculty to participate in the Faculty Online Certification Program providing advanced instructional methods employing the Quality Matters™ Rubric.
ITs promotes the transition of traditional university media delivery services to the advancement and support of emerging technologies through the design and maintenance of Smart Classrooms throughout campus.
