Dr. Maureen Dougherty has been at Frostburg since 2000. She is based at a satellite location in Catonsville at The Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC) where she is the coordinator of the undergraduate Recreation & Parks Management Program at CCBC which primarily services the adult learner.  By 2008, Maureen became Graduate Coordinator and transitioned the graduate program from a weekend program to a blended instructional format.  Since fall 2010, the graduate program transitioned once again to a totally online format with a new cohort being offered every fall.  Maureen continually examines options for more effective online learning opportunities.
