TASTE Proposal

President Gilbralter at TASTE The Office of Information Technology’s 14th Annual TASTE Conference is a FREE conference that is designed to help move our faculty and staff technologically forward in order to meet the needs of today’s tech-savvy students. By keeping up with current technologies, our students will understand that not only do we know our audience, but strive to maintain relevancy in order to respond to their current needs.

FSU faculty, staff, and vendors will facilitate 50-minute sessions. Each session will be tailored to up-and-coming technologies that emphasize transforming today’s educational experiences. Our vendor collaboration gives us another unique opportunity to learn from experts and discuss questions on-site. (Please click on the link above to submit a proposal.)

If you answer YES to any of the following, TASTE - 2015 is the opportunity for you!

  • Are you looking for a faculty development opportunity?
  • Do you strive to incorporate technology into your courses whether that is classroom, online, or hybrid courses?
  • Do you seek teaching strategies, tools, or innovative activities that engage students?
  • Do you desire to maintain a cutting edge?

It is also our goal to have attendees explore FSU’s newest building – CCIT (i.e., Center for Communications and Information Technology), share ideas and collaborate with colleagues, meet our technology vendors… and of course as always, share in great food and be entered for prize drawings that will be drawn throughout the day. (Winners will be announced periodically on CCIT’s digital signage; must be present to win.)
