Web Hosting
Services for Official Units and Faculty/Staff
Frostburg State University provides web space to permit web
pages to be created and posted for:
- University divisions, colleges, academic departments, administrative
offices or other units and programs (official pages)
- Faculty
- Staff
All official FSU web pages must be hosted on an official FSU web server
maintained by the Information Technology Department.

procedure for obtaining web space (and a web account) on a University's
web server.
Scope of Services
The University's web hosting services includes the following:
- Web development account on an FSU web server
- Web space (directory) on an FSU web server - 5 MB for official
web sites; 3MB for personal web pages
The individual or unit requesting the hosting service
and web account is responsible for building, publishing and maintaining
their web site. (The university webmaster can assist you as needed.)
