Accessing your Assigned Web Space
Required Software
FSU web publishers must use an FTP (file transfer protocol)
program to access their assigned web space on a University web server.
Most common web page building programs like Macromedia Dreamweaver have
FTP functionality built-in.
Setting Up a Host (Web Server) Connection in Dreamweaver
If you are using Macromedia Dreamweaver software to build and
publish your web page, following the instructions below to set up your
connection to the FSU web server.
If you are using another FTP program, see the following information.
General Information for Other FTP Programs
To transfer files to a University web server, your FTP program
will need the following information about the FSU web server.

In addition, you will need to supply your FSU username and password.
You are given access to the appropriate web server when your Web Publisher
