The Counseling and Psychological Services staff is available on a twenty-four hour basis to the students of the University.

In the case of a psychological emergency that occurs outside of regular weekday office hours, the on-duty counselor will be contacted by either a professional staff member of the Residence Life Office or by a member of the University Police. Students experiencing a crisis within the residence halls are encouraged to first contact their Resident Assistant. Students experiencing crisis at other places on campus or at an off campus residence are encouraged to contact the University Police at 301/687-4222.
