  • Black Student Alliance RaftingAfrican American Studies Society
    This groups strives to have a better understanding of what is like to be an African American in today’s society.
     
  • African Student Association
    The association brings awareness of Africa and the problems its people have overcome. Through educational and social events, such as a fashion show, the awareness of the people of Africa is maintained.
     
  • Amnesty International, Frostburg Chapter
    This organization is for the rights of humans to be equal. Persecution and unlawful deaths from across the globe are their main concerns.
     
  • Black Student Alliance
    The better understanding of black culture and heritage is what this alliance is all about. The alliance reaches out to the community through sponsored events, programs and activities.
     
  • GirlsBTGLASS (Breaking Through Glass)
    “Breaking through the Glass of negativity, inequality and discrimination,” BTGLASS’s mission is “to provide a safe space for everyone on campus, to promote equality for everyone, and to make a positive impact on our community for LGBT students, faculty and youths.”
     
  • Chinese Culture Club
    The organization is dedicated to anyone that is interested in the culture of China. The club hosts events in the Allegany County region such as Chinese New Year and lantern festivals.
     
  • French Club
    This group strives to learn French culture through the native tongue. Hosting events based on French customs, this group provides the community with the customs of this European country.
     
  • International Relations Club
    The International Relations Club runs mock United Nations meetings. Discussing current events, the students reach a higher understanding of how living in the modern world is complex and diverse.
     
  • Latin American Student Organization
    The organization dedicates itself to the awareness of Latin American culture and values. Through sponsoring special events such as salsa dance nights, and soccer tournaments, the organization reaches out to the local community to spread Latin American values.
     
  • BSA at NAACPNAACP College Chapter of FSU
    National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP). The Frostburg Chapter of this national organization raises awareness in the community. It focuses attention on being diverse.
     
  • National Society of Black Engineers
    This organization’s mission is to increase the number of culturally responsible black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community. You don't have to be black, and you don't have to be an engineer to join.
     
  • Spanish Club
    This group strives to learn Spanish culture through the native tongue. Hosting events based on Spanish customs and holidays, this club hopes to raise awareness of the language.
     
  • Students for Women’s Issues
    SWI’s purpose is to raise awareness about women's issues globally and locally.
