The Frostburg Center for Creative Writing is happy to announce the fifth annual Nightsun Writers Conference scheduled to be held Thursday, July 26, through Sunday, July 29, in downtown Frostburg, MD.
The conference will feature workshops with:
Gerry LaFemina, (poetry)
Andy Duncan, (sci-fi, fantasy, and horror)
Sara Pritchard, (fiction)
Sandra Beasley, (nonfiction)
Michael McAlexander, (screenwriting)
The program will provide participants with:
workshop opportunities
individualized attention to and feedback on their work
craft sessions
The conference is designed to generate new material for publication, hone the craft of creative writing, and initiate a larger writing community for participants.
The weekend will also include readings by participants, workshop faculty, and special guests
The cost for participation is $265.00 plus accommodations and some meals. There will be an opportunity for a one-on-one faculty conference for an additional cost of $25.00.
