Jeffrey McDaniel's fifth book of poems, Chapel of Inadvertent Joy, is coming out this fall from University of Pittsburgh Press. His poems have appeared in many journals, including Ploughshares and American Poetry Review, and were included in Best American Poetry 1994 and 2010. A recipient of an NEA fellowship, he is a professor of creative writing at Sarah Lawrence College in New York.
