Darcy Gagnon

I am a graduate of Frostburg State University, where I studied creative-writing. My specialties are poetry and creative nonfiction, though I enjoy reading and studying all manners of writing. Besides books, I’m extremely fond of music and cinema. Guilty pleasures include surrealist art, cats, and Bruce Lee flicks. I believe that good writing is a communal effort, and I look forward to discussing, debating, and humoring the ideas in which great stories begin.

Open to Non-Student Writers of All Levels

Open to nonstudent writers with any level of workshop experience, the goal of the writer’s workshop is to provide an opportunity for members of the creative writing community to share and receive feedback on their works of poetry, fiction or creative nonfiction.

The group is designed to be beneficial to both the beginning and experienced writer and workshop participant. Communication between group members is encouraged outside workshop meetings through the e-mail list. Meetings currently occur every first and third Monday of the month, at 7 pm.
