Interested in writing stories? Want to celebrate the world in a poem? Then middle school students (incoming 7th graders to incoming 9th graders) are welcome to join the Center for Creative Writing for a week-long program in writing stories and poems (you can only pick poems or stories). The program runs from August 5-August 9, from 9:00am to 1:00pm in downtown Frostburg.
Taught by the staff of the Center for Creative Writing, students will have the opportunity to write poems or stories during the course of the week; on the last day, the students will build "books" for their works and celebrate these books with a small reception and reading at the Center on Friday, August 9, 2012.
Spots are still available! The registration deadline has been extended to Friday, August 2!

For more information about the event, contact the center for creative writing at 301-687-4340 or email cwcenter@frostburg.edu.
