Interested in writing stories? Want to celebrate the world
in a poem? Then middle school students (incoming 7th graders to incoming
9th graders) are welcome to join the Center for Creative Writing for a week-long
program in writing stories and poems (you can only pick poems or stories).
The program runs from August 8-August 12, from 9:00 to 1:00 in downtown
Frostburg.
Taught by the staff of the Center for Creative Writing,
students will have the opportunity to write poems or stories during the
course of the week; on the last day, the students will build "books"
for their works and celebrate these books with a small reception and reading
at the Center on Friday, August 12, 2011.

For more information about the event, contact the center
for creative writing at 301.687.4340.
