Below is a brief overview of our department. If you have further questions, please send feel free to contact the department. Department Overview The department offers programs leading to a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1) Biology, 2) Ethnobotany, 3)Wildlife/Fisheries, and 4) Interpretive Biology and Natural History. There are two graduate programs in the biological sciences; a Master of Science in Wildlife and Fisheries Biology and a Master of Science degree in Applied Ecology and Conservation Biology. Cooperation with the Appalachian Environmental Laboratory, one of the three research institutes of the Center for Environmental and Estuarine Studies, provides expanded research opportunities.
