Major Bachelor of Science Degree Programs

The Department of Biology currently offers four programs leading to a Bachelor of Science

Biology including Pre-Health Professionals Options (Pre-Dental, Pre-Medical, Pre-Optometry and Pre-Veterinary), Biotechnology Concentration, Environmental Science Concentation, and Teaching Certificate

Wildlife & Fisheries Biology the only program in the State of Maryland

Interpretive Biology & Natural History a unique program where students learn to teach the general public about the great outdoors.

Ethnobotany one of only two Bachelor's programs in the United States, focusing on the relationships between people and plants.
