PDS Administrator ExperiencesPDS partnerships provide a useful resource for school administrators, from the building level to the district office. At the building level, the principal has more professional help because there are more people available. The principal has PDS interns available to assist with tutoring, class coverage, school activities, supervision, and other typical teacher duties. Additionally, through the linkage with the university, the principal and school division have access to university experts for staff development and services, including research initiatives and partnerships. Developing and adhering to PDS standards also provides administrators with a more focused, professional instructional environment that extends beyond the classroom to the school and school division.
