Dr. Charles Ewers has been a teacher, farmer, carpenter, fishing boat crewman, and journalist, among other things.  He has a B.A. In English from Georgetown University, an M.S. in Professional Writing from Towson University,  and a Ph.D. in English with a specialty in Rhetoric from Catholic University. He teaches Composing Processes, Literature of the Environment, and a variety of writing courses.  His non-academic interests include photography and wooden boat building.
