Official Contest Rules & Forms (PDF) Contest deadline: April 11, 2008 Conducted by: The Environmental Planning and Land Management
Institute of Frostburg State University Who’s Eligible: Any person (11 years or older) who lives, attends school, or is employed in either Allegany or Garrett County. (No professional photographers.) Theme: Environmental or natural habitat scenes of Allegany or Garrett County that depict an interpretation of the natural environment that defines Western Maryland. Entry format: Printed 8” x 10” color or black & white photographs only. Each photograph should be matted (4” or less). (Additional category this year: Macro photography) To Enter: Submit one or more (limit three) photographs
to the Frostburg State University Department of Geography (Gunter Hall,
room 201) or Bureau of Mines Lab, FSU Dunkle Hall Room 307. Include a completed entry form and release with your photo submissions.
