The International Studies major offers a summer internship program for either 9 or 15 credit hours. Students enroll in one of the following course combinations:

| Total | 15 credits |
A maximum of 6 credits of INST 492 Internship Seminar can be applied to the elective hours in the International Studies major "without specialized concentration." A maximum of 3 credits can be used in the major's four concentrations. The internship experience is strongly encouraged. All internships combine experiential and academic components and provide "hands-on" experience and often lead to career opportunities.
